Ingredients
- 6 oz Coarse Ground Coffee
Iced Coffee
Don't let the heat of summer spoil your morning wake-up beverage! Cold coffee isn't the answer; cold brewed coffee is. Brewing hot coffee and pouring it over ice brings with it bitterness and dilution. If you want a smooth yet refreshing coffee for summer mornings, cold brewing is the answer.
Method:
Any container capable of holding 2 cups of water will do fine, but personally, I like cold brewing in a mason jar. Mix the coffee with 2 cups of water in an adequate container (i.e., a mason jar). Then, simply let the coffee brew for 12 hours.
Pour the coffee through a strainer or cheesecloth and it's ready to serve!
We recommend a dash of heavy whipping cream or half and half. A dash of vanilla syrup makes it just that much more refreshing on a warm summer morning.
Enjoy!
