Homemade Cranberry Oatmeal
A healthy homemade breakfast alternative that's delicious too! Oats, raw honey, cranberries, and ground cinnamon are all associated with myriad health benefits like antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, etc. Many pre-made oatmeals are packed with sugars. Homemade oatmeal gives you the chance to sweeten it with healthier options like syrup or raw honey.
Method:
Into a small bowl, add the oats, dry milk, salt, and ground cinnamon. Top the mix with dried cranberries and add honey on top. Adjust the amount of honey to taste.
It takes about 1.5 to 2 minutes to boil 1 cup of water in the microwave. Pour the boiling water into the oatmeal and stir until thickened. More water will make runnier oatmeal and less water will make thicker oatmeal. Adjust to taste.
