Hawaiian Pizza Quesadilla
It's always easy to get pizza at home, but it's cheaper and better for you if you make it yourself. Besides, who wants to wait 30 to 45 minutes for a pizza? Not me. Try this Hawaiian pizza quesadilla for a quick treat in no time!
Method:
Preheat the quesadilla maker. You can also make the quesadillas in a sandwich maker if you don't have a quesadilla maker!
Put a tortilla on the quesadilla maker and close it for a few seconds. This'll make it easier to see the pockets to fill with ingredients.
You can put a little bit of marinara sauce in the quesadilla if you want. We don't because it makes it a little messy. We'd rather just warm the marinara a little bit in the microwave and use it for dipping instead.
Either way, distribute the mozzarella, pineapple, and diced ham around the tortilla, top it with the other tortilla (or fold it over in the sandwich maker). Cook it for about 2 minutes.
Cut it into wedges with a pizza cutter or knife and serve with warm marinara for dipping.
For a healthier option, of course you can choose whole wheat tortillas and less cheese.
If you can't find diced ham, it's easy to dice sliced ham with a pizza cutter.
